Visceral Science
This unique exploration uses virtual reality (VR) to transform students' experience with science. Focusing on the formation of stars and planets, students are confronted with key concepts such as force and motion, conservation of energy and thermonuclear reactions. Working in teams, students intuit numerous essential scientific concepts more thoroughly, deeply and quickly than with traditional instruction. The experience includes a companion augmented reality (AR) app that can be used from iOS and Android mobile devices.
Our goal was to create an interactive video showing the best moments of the app. We worked on a script that would allow us to navigate through the experience and make different decisions that would encourage the user to learn more about how they could use the app to help students learn through the STEM method in a fun and dynamic way.
